IHG Debuts 'Winter Chalet' Experiential Campaign

IHG Hotels and Resorts has kicked off its seasonal experiential campaign, which runs through Feb. 29.

The Iris agency is behind the "Winter Chalet" activation, which includes interior designs from Corey Damen Jenkins and an accompanying sonic experience curated by Grammy-winning Maren Morris.

Chalet installations set an enveloping mood, treating guests to a winter escape through seasonal sips and bites, as well as musical soundtracks. The music is meant to augment, according to Morris, “the aesthetic of this experience."

IHG and Iris have partnered before. Their latest endeavor was an activation at the U.S. Open.

“The way ideas travel has changed. The campaign is designed to bring people together to create an incredible, warm shared experience, through which they could connect and converse,” said Simon Yoxall, New York managing director, Iris.

The agency also recently announced Chris Whitson's promotion to global chief strategy officer.

Iris’ clients include Pizza Hut, Jack Daniel’s, Alcon and Samsung.
