Wiedlin Selected To Head Intuit SMB MediaLabs For Apollo Partners

Andy Wiedlin has been named business development leader for the Apollo Partners agency, which focuses on brand and market strategy and data analytics.

In his newly created role, Wiedlin will work exclusively on the Intuit SMB MediaLabs business, an ad network focused solely on small businesses. Wiedlin is based in San Francisco and will report to Apollo Partners CEO Eric Perko.

Prior to his appointment, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at BuzzFeed, scaling revenue from $1MM to $121MM. Before that, he led sales at AT&T International and Yahoo! and spent time at Andreessen Horowitz.

Perko said: “As our partnership with Intuit continued to grow and expand, we saw a need for someone specifically dedicated to helping venerable brands reach this sought after small business audience that Intuit SMB MediaLabs centers. Having led sales teams for BuzzFeed and Huffington Post in their respective heydays, Andy emerged as the perfect fit.”

Apollo Partners' brand partners include Coupa, The New York Times, Bolt, Freshworks and Mailchimp.
