Syler Exits 'The Early Show'

CBS' "The Early Show" is about to lose a member of the morning quartet. Rene Syler, who has co-anchored with Julie Chen, Harry Smith and Hannah Storm since 2002, calls it quits Dec. 22, according to AP. The show, which remains third behind "Today" and "Good Morning America," has no plans to replace her. Syler will spend next year promoting her book "Good Enough Mother."
