Ads Take Issue With Pfizer's Viagra Marketing

A new ad campaign by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation is pushing pharmaceutical company Pfizer to end its touting of Viagra as a sexual-enhancement drug. The print effort will launch in New York and Los Angeles, will appear in The Village Voice and gay newspapers, and also warns gay men of the dangers of using Viagra with crystal meth. The ad takes issue with direct-to-consumer marketing of Viagra as a drug to enhance sexual performance, aimed at men who don't necessarily suffer from erectile dysfunction.
