Just an Online Minute... Rich Relationships

The ANA/AAAA marketing conference in New York started off with good news for rich media advertisers. Yahoo! Inc. today announced relationships with four rich media technology leaders, supplementing the current Yahoo! Rich Media product suite.

Yahoo! will now work directly with Eyeblaster, EyeWonder, Point.Roll and Unicast to incorporate the companies' respective technologies into the Yahoo! network and sales channel.

While Yahoo! has previously offered these and other technologies on its network, these agreements facilitate cooperation between Yahoo! and the companies which will provide Yahoo!'s clients with seamless service when utilizing these technologies.

Yahoo! will work directly with Eyeblaster, EyeWonder, PointoRoll and Unicast to sell and implement the companies' technologies on behalf of marketers. According to the announcement, Yahoo! also plans to continue to develop its own proprietary ad technologies.

Beginning today and running for two weeks on the Yahoo! network, The Coca-Cola Company will utilize EyeWonder technology to promote the Coca-Cola Youth Partnership program. With the intention of extending the current television message to the Internet, a streaming video commercial will be available on Yahoo!.

Yahoo! is a recognized leader in providing industry-leading online marketing solutions. In February, JaOM’s sister publication, Media Magazine, named Yahoo! the best portal for marketers to work with in developing online marketing campaigns.
