Honda's Civic Tour, in its eighth year, is launching this week with the band "Panic At The Disco" as headliner. Since its inception in 2002, Civic Tour has put Honda Civics and Civic hybrids next to
alternative-rock band headliners: Honda backs a major national tour for a band like Incubus, Good Charlotte and Dashboard Confessional, and uses the concert series as a marketing platform for
promotional activities using Civic cars modified and signed by band members.
The tours have been produced by L.A.-based Marketing Factory. This year, the tour is timed with Panic's second
album, "Pretty. Odd." Honda says this year's tour will include, for the first time, its operations in Canada. Canadian Honda Civic Tour dates include Montreal on May 13 at Metropolis; Toronto on
May 14 at Sound Academy; and Vancouver on June 6 at PNE Forum.
