Media Contacts, the global interactive network of Havas Digital has opened offices in The Baltics region: Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. MC operations will be led and supervised by Mark Eikner, regional manager for Havas Media Baltics responsible for Strategy and Development, and Kaspars Ulsts, regional manager for Havas Media Baltics in charge of operations.

Gabriel Saenz de Buruaga, COO of Havas Digital, said the expansion is significant, because of the rapid growth of digital media in the region: "Internet penetration in the Baltics is much higher then the rest of Eastern and Central Europe. They're among the most online-literate nations in the world. E-banking and e-services are standard across most sectors of the economy. Online marketing is showing very strong growth and there is no indication this will slow in the near future, despite the state of the international economy."
