Social entertainment community Meez on Wednesday announced the launch of Meez Nation, a multi-tiered virtual world designed to engage a wide range of users.
Meez's community is
presently 7 million strong, according to Sean Ryan, the company's CEO.
Meez Nation is comprised of a variety of neighborhoods, each offering a range of locales that users can explore, including
public hangouts and personal Roomz that owners can custom-decorate and share with friends.
At launch, Meez Nation will include 50 Cent's virtual office--an environment where fans can listen to a
single from his upcoming album, engage in an animated rap battle and click a link to iTunes to purchase 50 Cent's music.
Meez's metrics-driven Brand Immersion Packages for brands like Nike,
Snapple, Sony and Cover Girl have allowed users to express their brand preferences by selecting branded virtual items.
