Suzuki To Pass On Detroit Auto Show

  • June 27, 2008
Automaker Suzuki said it will take a pass on the Detroit auto show-- the most important auto show in the U.S.--in January because the venue, Cobo Hall, is too small. It had reportedly planned to debut three vehicles during the show.

Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick will announce plans to expand the arena by 80,000 square feet, per the Detroit News. The paper says the embattled mayor announced the expansion a day after Suzuki's announcement.
