Boomj Abandons Brightcove For Vidshadow
Jun 30, 2008, 7:00 AM
After an unsuccessful attempt to incorporate Brightcove's user-interface, Boomj, a social network for baby boomers, tapped Vidshadow, an online video network.
Under the agreement, Las Vegas-based Boomj will syndicate content and other programming across the Vidshadow network as well as their online video portal. Boomj, created by Shopping.com founder Bob McNulty, has also embedded Vidshadow's online media player, and will utilize the video platform to play all selections from the cast library of content.
Vidshadow CEO Jordan Hudgens said that an easy-to-use interface is a keystone for his company's success and recent growth. Placentia, Calif.-based Vidshadow continues to develop its player to incorporate customizable functionality.
