Warner Music Strikes Mobile Deal

Faith HillWarner Music Group has struck a deal with mobile content provider SendMe Mobile, which will allow consumers to download thousands of artist ringtones, video ringtones, and wallpaper images from the SendMeMobile.com site.

Some of the Warner artists include: Blake Shelton, Faith Hill, Disturbed, VIC and Dragonforce.

SendMe is a content provider that enables mobile phone users to pay to download thousands of ringtones and a variety of content, games and entertainment to their cell phones. Send Me operates three Internet destinations: SendMeMobile.com, SoLow.com and mbuzzy.com.

Warner will work with SendMe in other marketing areas where consumers can interact with artists in a variety of promotional activities, including one contest that offers consumers a chance to win the opportunity to meet Warner musical artists.

SendMe has struck other similar music and content deals, including a deal made in January of this year with Universal Music Group. Before that, SendMe struck a similar deal with Sony Pictures Television.

The company has been in operation for two years.
