Pixsy Expands Video Syndication Network

Video Search engine Pixsy expects to announce Thursday it has inked deals with eZanga, GenieKnows.com, IceRocket, EgoTVOnline and GossipGirls. The five distribution partners will rely on the San Francisco-based company's Video Search Playback (VSP) platform to offer consumers a network of content.
Pixsy's VSP platform gives the Web sites access to the Pixsy Video Index. Videos can be searched and embedded into any Web site, providing a source of targeted content for users to search and view.
Web sites benefit from adding a significant source of new video content to their sites with targeted metadata that drives increased page views and new advertising opportunities, according to Pixsy CEO Chase Norlin.--Laurie Sullivan
