In a major push into what it calls "performance-based communications," Interpublic's Initiative unit this morning announced that Jeffrey Graham has joined as worldwide director-performance, a new position on the agency's worldwide leadership team. Graham, who joins Initiative from executive director-customer insight at The New York Times, will be based in New York and reports to Worldwide CEO Richard Beaven. Before joining the Times, Graham was senior vice president-director of strategic research and accountability at Publicis' Starcom MediaVest Group, where a number of Interpublic's senior media executives, including Beaven, have come from. Before that, he was senior vice president-research development at Dynamic Logic.
