Online Video Views Over Top, But TV Still Rules

Gian Fulgoni, executive chairman and co-founder of comScore, opened OMMA Global in San Francisco Tuesday with an interesting fact: 89 million people in the U.S. will watch at least one video online today. People watch longer form content, helping the time spent viewing to climb. The number of videos viewed per vier in the past year has grown by 75%. Still, with all these people watching video online, the dominate source remains television at 36 hours per week vs 1.4 hours for the total population of the household.
