'Dan, We Want To Make This Famous'

Dan Khabie is showing the OMMA Global crowd the behind-the-scenes construction of Digitaria's LRA Crisis Tracker for Invisible Children, the digital media platform that won Best in Show during MediaPost's Creative Media Awards.

With that success behind them, Khabie said Jason Russell and the rest of the IC team came into his office and said, "Dan, we want to make it famous."

And then they showed him the Kony 2012 video.

"To me, the video is a recap. It's a recap of what they've been doing for the last eight years."

Some recap. To date, he said, Kony 2012 has generated 12 million pledges and more than 100 million views on YouTube.
