BrightRoll has partnered with AdMob to let publishers and developers integrate video ads into their mobile apps through the Google mobile ad platform. BrightRoll says it’s the first video ad network available through AdMob’s ad network mediation service, which lets publishers manage the networks they use to enhance fill rates and boost revenue.
The new video ad offering is available to developers who have the latest version of AdMob’s SDK (software development kit). For mobile, BrightRoll adapts advertisers' traditional TV or web video content into pre-roll ad units for various mobile devices including the iPhones, iPads and Android phones and tablets.
The BrightRoll video network ranked as the third largest online video ad property in March, with 953 million ads during the month, representing U.S. reach of 36.4%, according to comScore. Read more here.
