Sony Computer Entertainment Taps BBH

Sony Computer Entertainment (basically the division that markets the PlayStation branded systems) has hired Bartle, Bogle Hegarty in New York as its lead creative advertising agency, after a review.
BBH bested 180LA, Anomaly and incumbent agency Deutsch for the business, according to the client. Deutsch had had the account for six years.
Details about the assignment were not disclosed, but Sony is rumored to be unveiling plans for its next generation console later this month. Last week, the company sent out and posted a video that used the PlayStation logo and controller symbols, along with the date, Feb. 20, 2013.
