Turn Taps Murphy In Advisory Role
Cloud-based marketing platform Turn has appointed industry veteran Mike Murphy as advisor. The former VP of global sales at Facebook has held positions spanning the technology, publishing and social marketing industries, and brings more than 20 years of advertising and sales experience to this new role.
"Mike Murphy was instrumental in growing Facebook to a billion dollars in revenue," said Bill Demas, president and CEO, Turn. "His experience will help Turn build on our industry-leading momentum and global expansion."
At Facebook, Murphy led media strategy, advertising sales and account management. Prior to that, he served as the vice president of media sales for Yahoo, managing the Western region. He also founded TAG, a company that provided outsourced sales, marketing, and business development services to established technology and early-stage start-up companies.
