Bud Light is announcing an initiative that brings consumers first-of-its-kind experiences fueled by great music.

The program, Bud Light Music First, brings together music and interactive partners, including Live Nation, Myspace and Universal Music Group, to engage music fans throughout the summer and host a live music experience.

The Music First program culminates with the Bud Light “50/50/1” event on Aug. 1, boasting concerts in all 50 states on a single day and featuring artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Sublime with Rome, Alex Clare, The Airborne Toxic Event, The Flaming Lips and Guster.

Specially marked Bud Light Music First packages contain an in-pack code, which adult consumers can enter on the new Bud Light Music First app to win multiple prizes, including 50/50/1 tickets, Monster DNA Headphones, Live Nation Concert Cash and UMG music Downloads. The Bud Light Music First app can be downloaded through the Apple and Android app stores.

“Music is such a unique platform because it brings people together, yet everyone interacts with it on a personal level,” said Rob McCarthy, vice president, Bud Light, in a release. “With Bud Light Music First, we have an amazing collection of artists and partners that will make sure every adult fan can experience music in a fun, interesting way this summer.”

Bud Light has also partnered with Myspace to build an interactive home for the Music First program. The Bud Light Music First Myspace hub offers fans an online venue for updates on concerts where they connect and listen to 50/50/1 artists and download the Bud Light app via iOS and Android mobile devices for a chance to win tickets to shows in their town or redeem prizing directly from their desktop computers.

The Bud Light Music First Myspace hub will also house a series of exclusive interviews with artists who will each share stories about their own personal music firsts and livestream select 50/50/1 concerts on Aug. 1.
