Sociomantic Adds Pitzer As VP Sales, North America

Just two months ago, Berlin-based ad retargeting firm Sociomantic named JB Brokaw president of North American operations. In the story announing Brokaw's hire, Online Media Daily wrote that his appointment was "part of a larger effort by [Sociomantic] to bolster its U.S. leadership team, and expand its presence in the region."

It looks like the company is still bolstering that team.

Today, the company announced the appointment of Charles Pitzer as vice president of sales, North America. He brings 25 years of sales experience with him and previously worked at Criteo.

"Technology-driven companies with a transparent approach will lead the pack when it comes to the future of ad tech," stated Pitzer. In the same statement, Brokaw added, "[Pitzer] understands that the real-time bidding (RTB) media landscape is racing towards transparency."

The Sociomantic team has been growing fast. According to the release, the company grew from 20 to 119 employees in 2012 and still hopes to double their numbers over the next 12 months.
