Diageo Promotes Saller To CMO

Diageo has promoted Syl Saller to chief marketing officer. 

As Diageo's global innovatio director for the past eight years, Saller's contributions included Snapp, the company's most successful launch to date. Earlier, she served as marketing director for Diageo GB, and marketing development director for Allied Domecq Retail.

Saller succeeds Andy Fennell in the CMO role. Fennell has been named president and CEO, Africa, a new position created to grow Diageo's business in the region. Fennell also remains on the executive board. 

Diageo's many spirits brands include Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Tanqueray and J&B.
