SeeWhy, a retargeting company, on Monday announced the availability of SeeWhy Ad Manager, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) meant for retail and ecommerce companies. The new product allows for cross-channel retargeting campaigns. The channels supported include display, video, social, mobile, email and digital TV.
The Ad Manager uses real-time bidding (RTB) to target the highest valued visitors based on behavioral profiles it creates. The company claims it allocates budget, in real-time, based on consumers who present the highest potential ROI.
“Most ad retargeting is unsophisticated, leveraging a single channel and based on relatively little knowledge about the individual,” stated Charles Nicholls, chief strategy officer of SeeWhy.
Nicholls also claimed that retargeting shoppers cross-channel immediately after a Web site visit leads to 300%-500% increases in revenue when compared to non-real time retargeting efforts.
