Horizon Media and Clear Channel Communications have signed a $100 million, multi-year agreement that provides Horizon clients with an array of advertising, sponsorship and integrated marketing opportunities across Clear Channel’s portfolio of media properties and entertainment venues.
In addition to having access to Clear Channel broadcast, out-of-home, mobile and digital properties, the deal provides Horizon with exclusive rights across events and promotions such as the media company’s iHeartRadio Theaters performances in New York and Los Angeles, as well as events tailored specifically to Horizon clients. The agency will also have access to the Clear Channel creative talent for content creation opportunities, the companies said.
“I’ve been impressed with the transformation of Clear Channel into a multi-platform company that can provide national reach while activating locally and providing measurable ROI,” said Horizon Media CEO Bill Koenigsberg.
“Clear Channel and Horizon are committed to the same goal—providing our advertising partners with superior ROI on their marketing expenditures,” added Clear Channel CEO Bob Pittman.
The companies said they would use their assets to jointly create new psychographic targeting systems. Research and data generated from the programs created under the agreement will be used to further refine media-mix models, they said.
