Yieldbot this week announced it has closed a $18 million Series B round of funding led by SJF Ventures. Yieldbot is an ad server that relies on consumer intent.
Exisiting investors RRE Ventures, New Atlantic Ventures, Common Angels also participated, as did City National Bank.
Per a release, Yieldbot plans to use the funding invest in its “real-time consumer intent” tracking technology.
"Yieldbot intent has proven useful when selling to clients who are buying keyword campaigns from Google, Yahoo and Bing, thus allowing us to compete head-to-head for what were typically search engine marketing budgets," stated Andy Wilson, chief digital officer, Meredith Corporation.
Yieldbot will also use the funding to strengthen its U.S. sales force.
