BlisMedia, an audience targeting firm, on Wednesday announced the appointment of Harry Dewhirst as president and chief commercial officer. He has also joined the company’s board of directors.
Dewhirst will be based in Singapore and will oversee the company's global commercial partnerships as well as strategic planning for international expansion, per a release. Specifically, Blis has eyes on markets in the Asia-Pacific region.
“Advertisers globally are seeking new ways to reach relevant audiences and we are seeing an explosion in data-led audience targeting,” stated Dewhirst.
Dewhirst was a co-founder of Amobee, a mobile ad platform that was acquired by SingTel for $321 million in 2012. He has been an investor in Blis for the past three years.
