ShopIgniter Named Twitter Creative Performance Partner, Revamps Platform

ShopIgniter, the social mobile ad firm acquired by Mixpo earlier this month, on Monday announced it is one of two companies to be named a Twitter Creative Performance Partner. The other partner is Inadco, per a ShopIgniter representative.

In conjunction with the announcement by Twitter, ShopIgniter has beefed up its platform to include a self-serve Twitter Card builder and customer destination pages. Twitter Cards allow marketers to attach photos, videos, etc. to tweet to drive engagement, but marketers previously had to manually create the cards and customer destination pages. ShopIgniter says its Twitter Card builder is now done on a more automated basis (akin to content management), and also  marketers run multi-variant tests comparing multiple Twitter Cards.

ShopIgniter also says it can now retarget across devices and track conversion across devices and visits.

“Twitter’s Creative Performance Partner category is a big step for the social ad industry, putting creative testing and programmatic targeting optimization in the hands of the marketer,” stated Dan Warner, CTO and co-founder of ShopIgniter.
