Women's Marketing Acquires Flying Point Digital

Media strategy and buying firm Women's Marketing is acquiring Flying Point Digital. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Flying Point will continue to operate under its own name and in its own New York offices. Brandon Heagle, formerly President and COO of Flying Point, will stay on and continue to oversee its day-to-day operations, reporting to Andrea Van Dam, CEO of Women’s Marketing.

Flying Point currently employs 15 people and is in the process of hiring additional staff.

Women's Marketing provides clients with an "immersive consumer experience," with end-to-end optimization, tracking, and analytics. Flying Point Digital makes sure these campaigns are effective through SEO/SEM, content marketing, social media, and website optimization. Hence, the two can offer brands an expanded roster of strategic e-commerce, digital marketing, and media strategy and buying services.

"Our growing digital strategy team and Flying Point's experienced, entrepreneurial experts are joining together to further enhance our clients' media performance, particularly in the areas of e-commerce and retail sales," said Van Dam. "We are thrilled to add such depth of expertise to our strategic offerings, and to bring these capabilities to a broader base of clients.”

This acquisition, with its technology tools and experience, takes Women's Marketing one step closer to being a full-service media agency, according to Van Dam. “Flying Point Digital came highly recommended when we began our search to expand digital media capabilities particularly in the areas of SEM, SEO and social," she said. "With a similar management style and company culture, Flying Point, too, is in a strong position with loyal clients, exceptional talent and a clear vision for the future. Their experience in driving e-tail and offline sales will be an ideal complement to the strategic work Women’s Marketing already does with brands like StriVectin, Murad, and Juicy Juice.”

East Wind Advisors served as the financial advisor to Women's Marketing, Inc. Flying Point was represented by Palazzo Investment Bankers.
