'Beerstorming' Website Aims to Provide Deep (And Shallow) Insights For Creatives

Two Miami Ad School students have created a movement called  Beerstorming.  A website capturing the happy hour moments of “genius” experienced at the bar. As described on the website, "Drinking beer is the best way to brainstorm. The deeper into the bottle, the deeper the thoughts. Crack open a beerstorm?"

Santiago Lastra and Samantha Cable, as part of an internship submission for their final quarter, have listed hundreds of random insights on the website, seemingly, with the goal of inspiring creativity. Or at least the opportunity to piss away a few moments on a random afternoon.

The site offers Shallow Truths, Medium Truth and Deep Truths. Visitors can click through to one of the three styles of truths and then rotate through the selections until one inspires creativity. Or so Lastra and Cable would have us believe. Though I'm not quite sure what car headlights have to do with purchase patterns.

The "truths" sound like a Demitri Martin routine.
