Fyber Sees Mobile Video Ads Grow 250%

Fyber, a supply-side platform based in Berlin, announced today that its mobile video product has seen a 250% increase in weekly revenue between May and August 2015. Parallel to that growth, impressions have also increased by 330%.

Fyber was unable to share growth results in dollar amounts.

Advertisers and marketers can expect mobile video, and programmatic video especially to continue to grow at a fast pace. According to eMarketer, advertisers will spend $3.94 billion on mobile video next year, an increase of 50%. Programmatic ad spend is projected to reach $2 billion for video on all devices, and double again in 2016.

Janis Zech, Fyber co-Founder and CRO,  says that Fyber plans to double down on its mobile video offering, having recently acquired real-time bidding (RTB) platform Falk Realtime to strengthen its own programmatic stack by offering premium programmatic pre-roll and in-app inventory.

Congrats to Fyber on acquiring Falk Realtime. Video ads are one of the fastest growing ad formats.
