Telmetrics Appoints Technologist, Advisor To CEO Post

Andrew Osmak has stepped in as president and CEO at Telmetrics, replacing Bill Dinan, who held the position of president for more than six years, while at the company for 17.

Telmetrics, a call analytics provider, announced the appointment Wednesday, but Osmak has been in his role since Jan. 1, 2016. Dinan becomes a special advisor to the company's board.

Osmak, an investment banker, financier and entrepreneur, will lead Telmetrics' next phase of growth through offline and online revenue driven through voice phone calls.

"The phone call is the cherry on top," Osmak says. "It completes the loop, especially for mobile marketers spending in display and search advertising."

Telmetrics measures phone calls from mobile devices -- the ones where consumers call retail stores asking for store hours, stock availability, and appointments.

Osmak plans to extend services to smaller companies, and buildout tools that leverage the phone call back to the business.

Gerry Connor, CEO of Cumberland Private Wealth Management and lead investor in Telmetrics, remains confident that Osmak can lead the company toward its long-term growth strategy without the venture backed pressures of some of its competitors.

Osmak most recently served as managing partner at Leverage Capital consulting to leading technology companies such as Shopify and TheRedPin. Prior, he worked at Canadian publishing company Transcontinental Digital Media and was key to the growth and sale of Lavalife by creating and growing the online dating company's market-leading mobile business from zero to $25 million in three years.

Earlier in his career, Osmak helped launch several Silicon Valley-based start-up companies including digital photography software provider Fotiva, which was acquired by Adobe. He also has served the Mobile Marketing Association in both the U.S. and Canada.
