Digital Shop Chemistry Merges With Creative Agency Breensmith


Digital agency Chemistry and creative shop breensmith have merged and will operate under the Chemistry brand. Terms weren’t disclosed.

Effective immediately, breensmith co-founders Tim Smith and Chris Breen will serve as President and Chief Creative Officer (respectively) of the Atlanta office. Both will report to Chemistry CEO Ned Show.

Chemistry’s offering includes creative and design, strategy and innovation, production, data and performance marketing PR as well as social. Its client roster includes H&R Block, Marriott, Siemens, PNC, and The New York Philharmonic. 

“We looked long and hard at finding the right fit for what we are building” stated Show. “The breensmith team has the creative juice and commitment to growing a modern agency.”

Breensmith was founded by veteran creatives Chris Breen, who previously served at Crispin Porter + Bogusky, and Tim Smith (BBDO NY, DDB Chicago). Its current client roster includes Kumho Tire, ZTE, and D4C Brands.

Collectively, the new Chemistry offices house 100 staffers and generate approximately $100 million in billings, according to the agency.
