Danny DeVito Promotes Jersey Mike's Subs

Jersey Mikes's subs have a new spot promoting the sandwich shop.

Danny DeVito stars in "Arm of the Slicer," set to "Rocky III" theme music "Eye of the Tiger."

The ad posits DeVito as an arm workout coach getting the Jersey Mike's staff in shape to prepare the freshly sliced subs.

"We have been fresh slicing sub sandwiches since 1956. It takes practice to provide the right quantity and quality of meat and cheese every single time. The "Arm of the Slicer" reminds our customers just how much training goes into getting them the freshest sliced subs around," said. Rich Hope, Jersey Mike’s CMO.

The 30-second spot was created by Highdive and running in most of the major sports and cable networks.

A 60-second spot will air on CBS during March Madness, March 16-17. The campaign runs through June 30.
