GroupM has named Sharb Farjami North America CEO.

He succeeds Adam Gerhart, who had been handling the dual role of Global CEO of Mindshare and interim North America CEO of GroupM, until a permanent successor was named to replace Kirk McDonald, who announced plans in October 2023 to leave GroupM at the end of the year.

Farjami joins GroupM from its Wavemaker unit, where he had been North American CEO.

Farjami will continue overseeing Wavemaker until a successor is named to replace him there.
