Eat or Be Eaten

I accompanied PHD Detroit's Fred Sattler (the most creative media mind in America, and I said it so you know it's true), PHD Detroit's Lori Collins and Dodge client Mark Spencer and friends to Nobu in the Hard Rock, and we all ate slimy, shiny, shimmering things. Well, they did, I had a couple pieces of tempura asparagus and a half-carafe of cold sake. I told them I loved their sports buys 'cause I saw Dodge all over the place. And I love that Rock Em, Sock Em robot spot--the first 100 times I saw it. Then I asked would it have killed BBDO to make more than one execution? Mark said "you wouldn't believe how little we had to spend for that presence." I said, "well, then BBDO should have had enough money for more goddamn executions." This is why it is a bad idea to take me to dinner.
