MTV Networks has signed on to use the video ad-insertion platform developed by Panache across the cable network's Web sites including MTV.com, VH1.om, Nick.com and CMT. com. With 400 million streams per month, MTV has plenty of online video inventory to serve up.

Under their partnership, Panache will deliver all video ads to the network's sites from standard pre-, mid- and post-rolls to newer ad formats including bugs and overlays.

"We offer one of the richest and most diverse video experiences on the Web, streaming hundreds of millions videos to a wide variety of audiences each month," said Nada Stirratt, executive vice president for digital advertising at MTV Networks, in a statement. "Panache enables us to offer marketers additional tools to reach their consumers through unique and engaging video ad formats."

Los Angeles-based Panache's technology lets video providers deliver ads across media-playing formats spanning Flash, Microsoft's Silverlight, IPTV and cable TV set-top boxes. Besides MTV, clients include Break Media, CBS Yahoo and Gorilla Nation.--Mark Walsh
