Google is the most effective advertiser of the major Web destinations advertising on the television, according to new data released today by TV ad effectiveness researcher Ace Metrix. Three Google spots – “Dear Sophie,” “The Jonny Cash Project,” and (my personal favorite) “Things Get Better” – rank first, second and third among all the TV spots from online destinations measured by Ace Metrix so far this year. In fact, Google had five of the top 10 most effective TV ads in the category.
The least effective TV advertiser in the category is GoDaddy.com, which has aired the most TV spots garnering the lowest effectiveness ratings.
