Fox's 'Touch,' Unilever Partner For Major Global Ad Partnership

Touch-In what Fox Television says is a first, the network's new drama "Touch" will be launched in more than 100 countries with Unilever as its worldwide advertising partner.

The new drama, starring Kiefer Sutherland, will have its U.S. premiere on March 19. Tim Kring, who created "Heroes," is the show's creator and executive producer.

Fox has secured international deals in more than 160 markets, including Global Television in Canada, Sky 1 in the United Kingdom, ProSieben in Germany, Yes TV in Israel and Channel One in Russia. Fox International Channels will launch the series in 64 countries throughout Latin America, Asia and Europe.

Unilever will launch a broad-scale marketing partnership, including television and other media buys in Europe, Asia, Latin America, as well as the U.S. In addition, it will sponsor a "Touch" international media tour and worldwide premiere in New York City on March 18. There will be exclusive online content sponsored by Unilever brands around the world.

“Our global Unilever partnership goes far beyond the scope of anything we’ve ever done,” stated Jean Rossi, president of Fox One, News Corp’s integrated sales and marketing division. She worked with Unilever for more than a year to create the worldwide partnership.

Luis Di-Como, senior vice president of global media of Unilever, added that it is this "type of sponsorship that enables us to connect and engage consumers with one of our billion-euro global brands –- Rexona, Degree in the U.S. and Sure in the UK -– with one culturally relevant content platform.”

"Touch" is about a somewhat challenged young boy who has the ability to perceive the seemingly hidden patterns that connect every life on the planet.
