Spil Games Goes Real-Time With Seelen and Sluis
Spil Games, a social gaming
platform, today announced the hiring of Bas Seelen as VP of advertising and Age Sluis as director of online advertising. Seelen and Sluis will oversee a shift in the company's ad strategy towards
real-time advertising and automated bidding.
“The industry is in the midst of an important evolution, and Spil Games is committed to making it successful for both our advertising partners and 200 million monthly consumers around the world,” stated Seelen. “Spil Games is one of the first online game publishers to completely re-structure its business around real time and automated bidding. There is still much more to do, but results like a 70 percent year over year growth in advertising revenues generated from RTB and video are encouraging.”
"Social gaming" has many definitions, but Spil Games is home to flash games (that, of course, can be easily shared on social media sites).
