Rubicon Promotes Two, Strengthens France Operations

Rubicon Project has promoted two executives to strengthen its operations in France, which already include powering La Place Media, a publisher consortium for real-time bidding (RTB).

Julien Gardès has been promoted from country manager (France) to managing director of Southern Europe. Gardès works from the company's Paris office.

Joining and reporting to Gardès at the Paris office will be William Salmon-Lefranc, who has been promoted to head of buyer cloud, Southern Europe. Salmon-Lefranc previously worked at the company's London office.

Salmon-Lefranc will lead a team that will work with Rubicon's buying partners in France, including trading desks, ad networks, mobile media agencies, and demand-side platforms (DSPs).

“Gardès has proven his ability to lead a successful team in France and will now help buyers and sellers in the south of Europe to understand the benefits of automation," stated Jay Stevens, general manager international at Rubicon. He added that in his new role, Salmon-Lefranc will now "lead a team closer to his clients."
