The Barbarian Group Boosts Executive Ranks By 4

Creative agency The Barbarian Group has several new faces joining its leadership team following several new business wins, including Etihad Airways and Kind Snacks.
TBWA's Ian Daly is joining as the newly created chief strategy officer to guide a strategic course for the company and manage staffers as they "create ideas, rooted in technology, that drive culture."

Most recently he was group strategy director, overseeing a team of more than 20 planners at TBWA\Media Arts Lab in Los Angeles.

Darren Himebrook jumps from the Martin Agency to become has head of operations to oversee agency operations, production and The Barbarian Group’s content studio, Lot112.

Himebrook most recently built digital production capabilities at The Martin Agency and has previously worked on projects for CP+B, Wieden + Kennedy and JWT.

Edu Pou has been promoted to chief creative officer from executive creative director to oversee all creative output for The Barbarian Group’s client roster. He joined The Barbarian Group in October 2014 and has since helped the company win several new accounts: PepsiCo’s Brisk, Kind Snacks and Etihad Airways.
Finally, Robert Christ was elevated from tech director to chief technology officer. He originally joined the agency in 2013 and has developed web and campaign work for GE, IBM, Pepsi, Bacardi and Samsung.

All executives will be based in New York City.
