    Interep Interactive has named KRISTEN GLYNN as account manager in its San Francisco office. Glynn comes to Interep Interactive from Kintera, where she had been a sales consultant since earlier this year. Before that, she was manager, collegiate marketing and promotions for Virgin Mobile USA.

    NIGEL GILBERT (pictured), currently the worldwide account director on HSBC at Lowe & Partners Worldwide in London, has been promoted to regional president of Lowe’s Asia-Pacific network. Gilbert will succeed IAN CREASEY in Singapore, who is relocating to London to assume his new position as regional president for Europe/Middle East/Africa. PETER ZILLIG will become the new worldwide account director on HSBC.

Harris was previously senior account executive at Niemczyk Hoffmann Group, where she managed more than 30 clients. Prior to that, she was director and vice president of marketing at Leesport Bank, and was responsible for advertising, marketing, new product development, and sales training.

    William C. Weiss, chairman, CEO and founder of The Promar Group, has been appointed a senior fellow of The Media Center at the American Press Institute. Weiss will assist The Media Center in strategic planning, industry outreach, and leveraging the intersection of media and technology.
