Friedman joins Campbell-Ewald as vice president, manager project management and lead project manager on the Alltel account. Nash-Wong joins Campbell-Ewald as vice president, account supervisor.

  • BILL MUNGOVAN
    Carat Fusion has expanded its search marketing capabilities through the hiring of seven search marketing professionals. BILL MUNGOVAN was named west coast director of search marketing. He previously served as director, client relations at Looksmart. Additionally, VALERIE KRUK and RENEE ROBERTSON have been hired in the agency’s Boston office; LAURA KRUG and JOSHUA BOCK have been hired in the New York office, and LOGAN NEILSON and TIFFANY LEE have joined in Carat Fusion’s Los Angeles office. All were hired as SEM Associates.

    OLN has named BILL BERGOFIN as senior vice president of marketing and promotion. Bergofin will direct strategic marketing and positioning initiatives, which includes oversight of the network’s rebrand from OLN to its new name, Versus. Bergofin joins the network from agency Shepardson, Stern & Kaminsky.

    LEE PEELER, deputy director of the bureau of consumer protection, federal trade commission, has been named president and CEO of the National Advertising Review Council and executive vice president, national advertising self-regulation, Council of Better Business Bureaus, effective Sept. 11. He served as associate director of the Bureau of Consumer Protection's Division of Advertising Practices for 16 years before he was named deputy director of the Bureau of Consumer Protection in 2001.
