    GlaxoSmithKline is consolidating its whopping $1 billion North American media account with MediaCom. The agency practically doubles the amount of billings it currently handles for the company. MPG previously handled the work.
  • Lunesta
    In Review
    Sepracor placed creatives duties for its Lunesta brand in review. The $330 million advertising account is handled by McCann Erickson, who will defend.
  • Heineken
    Wieden + Kennedy
    Heineken USA removed Berlin Cameron United as its agency for its Heineken and Heineken Premium Light brands and tapped Wieden + Kennedy to handle duties on the combined $100 million accounts.
  • Intel
    In Review
    Intel placed its media buying account, estimated at $98 million, in review. Universal McCann currently handles the account and will defend.
  • American Legacy Foundation
    Arnold
    The American Legacy Foundation consolidated creative duties on its "Truth" campaign at Arnold. Crispin Porter + Bogusky previously shared duties with Arnold.
  • Hyundai

    Initiative, Havas Media and incumbent Carat are the three remaining agencies competing for U.S. media chores on Hyundai/Kia's $800 million account.
  • Royal Caribbean

    JWT and MindShare were awarded global marketing chores on Royal Caribbean's $90 million account. Arnold and MPG previously handled the work.

    Ruth's Chris Steak House placed its $7 million advertising account in review. Peter A. Mayer Advertising currently handles the account and will defend.
  • LG Electronics

    LG Electronics tapped MindShare to handle its media duties, Young & Rubicam for creative work and Publicis Modem for digital duties.

    New York - New York Hotel & Casino, owned by MGM Mirage, named davidandgoliath as its agency of record.
  • IHOP
    VitroRobertson
    IHOP is expected to award VitroRobertson creative chores on its $80 million account.
  • K-Swiss
    Toth Brand Imaging
    K-Swiss, an athletic and lifestyle apparel and footwear company, named Toth Brand Imaging as its advertising agency of record for performance and lifestyle footwear and apparel. Billings for the account were not disclosed, but are estimated at $15 million. Media planning and buying will be handled by PGR Media in Boston. Gale Group in New York City previously handled the account and will continue to handle public relations duties. New work is slated to launch in March.

    FUSE/ideas has been chosen for a re-branding assignment from Office Resources, a distributor of Knoll office furniture in New England. The account, previously unassigned, was awarded after a review of local agencies. Billings were not released.
  • Synchrony Health

    Empower MediaMarketing, Cincinnati was assigned media planning and buying duties by Synchrony Health, a LAP-BAND surgery and weight loss center. Billings were not disclosed.
