    WPP Group
    Mazda North American Operations announced that WPP Group has officially taken over as its full-service marketing-communications partner. The new entity, "Team Mazda," is comprised of various WPP marketing agencies and will be responsible for providing strategic marketing and communications support for MNAO's U.S., Canadian and Mexican operations. Team Mazda will be headquartered in Irvine, Calif.

    Major League Baseball selected Hill Holliday as its agency of record. The partnership begins with the upcoming 2011 season. McCann Erickson previously handled the work.

    Yahoo tapped MediaVest to handle its U.S. online and offline media chores, previously handled by Neo@Ogilvy and Mindshare, respectively.

    Euro RSCG London was awarded the global Chivas digital work, following a review. The agency already handles global above-the-line advertising for Chivas, running the account out of Euro RSCG London. The agency picked up the global advertising chores in May 2008.

    Colle+McVoy has been named agency of record for the Mammoth Mountain Ski Area. The agency will lead strategic and creative development of digitally driven, integrated marketing programs targeted to adventure enthusiasts.
