    Citigroup mistakenly sent out an email to Costco members last week reporting that their memberships had been cancelled. The company apologized and sent a follow up email explaining that member cards are still active. Citigroup took over the credit card program for Costco back in June after the retailer's 16-year partnership with American Express.

The SB 448 bill would be applied to offenders convicted on or after Jan. 1, 2017 who used the Internet for sexual crimes. The bill is now headed to the governor.

    Late Night host Seth Meyers used Hillary Clinton's latest email story to poke fun at the Democratic presidential candidate. Responding to news that the FBI found about 15,000 emails that Clinton didn't hand over to the agency, Meyers quipped, ""How many emails does Hillary Clinton have that she can just miss 15,000? Oh no, is she one of those weirdos who has them unread on her phone? Because Trump may be a demagogue, but I can't vote for a sociopath who doesn't clean out their inbox. That is not okay."

    Mobile shopping assistant Slice has a new tool that helps e-commerce shoppers find the best deals called Slice Watch. The service will allow users to track prices for items online and get emails if the prices have dropped. The tool supports retailers including: Amazon, Best Buy, Target, Walmart, Nordstrom, Macy's, REI, Anthropologie, Newegg.com, Staples, Walgreens, and Sephora.

    There is a new spam email in circulation in the UK claiming to be from Apple and Netflix. The email claims that the user has an outstanding balance of GBP39.56 for a Netflix subscription. The email includes a link to manage or cancel the account, and the link contains malware.
