When a notable startup threatens Facebook, CEO Mark Zuckerberg either buys the company or threatens to destroy it, says Mashable. In the case of Twitter and Snapchat, he reportedly did both. Despite its size, DFacebook isn't exempt from the kinds of threats it poses on other companies. Facebook adds multiple features to or changes the platform any given week — in fact, engineers tweak its desktop site multiple times per day. Over the years, Facebook has created its own products, such as News Feed and Facebook Home. Or it's borrowed (or directly copied) from competitors.
