Apple just hired Cynthia Hogan to head up its Washington office. Hogan formerly served as an aide to Vice President Joe Biden, and lobbyist for the National Football League. Politico calls the hire
“a major pickup for the tech giant as it continues to battle law enforcement officials who seek greater access to its customers’ data.”
