Trump Wins Electoral College As Expected

Despite Trump’s almost 3 million vote deficit to Hillary Clinton on Election Day, he won the Electoral College. On Monday, the 538 electors met to cast their ballots, and Trump prevailed. Only two Republican electors voted against Trump, both from Texas. In fact, more “faithless electors” appeared on the Democratic side, where Democratic electors in Washington, Minnesota, Maine, Hawaii and Colorado did not vote for Clinton.
