Joe Waugh was promoted to senior vice president of Harmelin Media, up from vice president of the Philadelphia-based agency.

As the account director for Regions Bank, Waugh also manages a planning team with 16 employees and 17 accounts, ranging from Hospitals/Health Systems, Financial and Utilities brands.

Waugh is a member of Harmelin's Business Development team and Chair of the Contracts Committee. He recently oversaw the agency's Out-of-Home project, which realigned the OOH process including research, planning and buying.

In his new role, Waugh will continue to handle his responsibilities, along with a newly-created position as head of account management.

Waugh began his media career at Harmelin 23 years ago. While there, he has managed accounts such as Aetna, Dex and Fox Chase Cancer Center.
