Scared Yet? Halloween Promos Keep Coming And Coming...

 

As Oct. 31 rapidly approaches, QSRs and fast-casual restaurants continue to announce many last-minute October promotions. Here’s a round-up of a few special offers that bring in the spook.

Wendy’s

Beginning Oct. 27, Wendy’s will  launch five days of Halloween-themed loyalty member app-only deals. The promotions start with a “BO(O)GO” premium sandwich or a Loaded Nacho Cheeseburger for “you AND your BOO!” on the 27th, with the 28th bringing a free crispy sandwich with any purchase, a BO(O)GO croissant or biscuit sandwich on the 29th, .99 small coffee (hot, “chillingly” cold, or a Frosty Cream Cold Boo”) on the 30th and ending with a free six-piece Nuggs with any purchase on Halloween.

Krispy Kreme

Now through Oct. 31, Krispy Kreme customers can order a Scooby-Doo Halloween Dozen, packaged in a limited-edition custom Scooby-Doo box. And customers who show up to the store in costume receive a free donut of their choice.

Mod Pizza

On Halloween, MOD Pizza will reward customers who arrive in costume to any of their 540 locations with 31% off their in-store purchase.

Burger King

If your Halloween isn’t scary enough, Burger King has just the food to induce more nightmares -- literally.  Starting this week, the chain is offering the Nightmare King for a limited time. The King features a weird combo of food: beef patty, a chicken fillet, melted American cheese, bacon, mayonnaise and onions on a glazed green sesame seed bun. The chain claims it’s determined through testing that eating the protein-laden burger actually increases nightmares (and, um, who wouldn’t want that?).

 “According to previous studies, 4% of the population experiences nightmares in any given night,” said Dr. Jose Gabriel Medina, the BK study’s lead doctor, in a release. “But, after eating the Nightmare King... the incidence of nightmares increased by 3.5 times.”

Ono Hawaiian BBQ

Customers who go to any Ono Hawaiian BBQ location in costume on Halloween can purchase a discounted  Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Aloha Plate for $5.

IHOP

Now through Oct. 31, kids 12 and under can get a free Scary Face Pancake with the purchase of an adult entree. The offer is available from 4 P.M. to 10 P.M. for dine-in only.

Chronic Tacos

Chronic Tacos will treat all loyalty members to a free order of Churro Bites through the chain’s app on Halloween.

Carvel

Carvel customers will receive $5 off any order of $25 or more on Uber Eats, Grubhub or DoorDash, Oct. 28-31.

 

Firehouse Subs

Firehouse rewards members can earn triple points on purchases placed online, in restaurants, or in the app on Oct. 30-31.
